Article too generous to Little 7. And ND will be a key player.

The BigXII is the Big 3 (OU, UT, KU) and the Little 7. And the author acts like the Little 7 have options and are desired by other conference to some extent. Although he did say Kansas State has no options. He did give some sound advice to the Little 7--be very good at football between now and 2024. Anyway, I think most of the Little 7 have no options. And their best bet is trying to attach themselves as a package deal to one of the Big 3. As a result, Iowa State is probably in the worst position. The only way ISU goes anywhere is if Iowa and the BigTen decide to be charitable.

About Notre Dame. When all of this goes down, if ND decides to go all in with the ACC, this will be a game changer. In this case, the ACC might be able to cherry pick a single team (Texas?) from the Big12 and not have to take straphangers. And if that's the case, the whole situation for the other nine becomes more bleak.
